Victoria - Public Hospitals & Mental Health Services Policy & Funding Guidelines 2008 - 2009 - 1 July 2008
Mental Health Act 1986 ReviewThe Minister for Mental Health, the Hon Lisa Neville MP, announced a review of the Victorian Mental Health Act 1986 (the Act) on 8 May 2008. The Minister has appointed Mr Ben Bodna, AM, Ms Dominique Saunders and Mr Wayne Schwass to the independent Community Consultation Panel (the Panel) to lead public consultations on the review.
Because Mental Health Matters: A new focus for mental health and wellbeing in Victoria - May 2008The Victorian Government has now released the Because mental health matters consultation paper. The paper outlines the new vision for Victoria’s mental health services and proposes priorities for action and possible solutions to identified needs.
